The Black Curriculum and FHALMA have collaborated to produce an educational series about activism and archives. The first workshop will be delivered on November 4th to students aged 16-18 years old from Acland Burghley Secondary School in Camden. We will talk about the relevance of archives, what they tell us, and focus on three key moments of activism in Jessica and Eric Huntley’s long series of campaigning and activities.
In addition, developed by our partners at City of London/London Metropolitan Archives, you can find out more about the narratives that resonate with events today in our digital audio archives. The schools programme and educational workshops are inspired by the records of the Huntleys and Bogle-L’Ouverture. Check out the opportunities to book a school’s workshop here.
